An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scretary to provide secretarial support to the Primary Care Wellbeing & Recovery. Supporting a strong, well established team, you will provide professional secretarial support to management and development activities across the four Independent Practitioner groups, namely General Medical Practitioners; General Dental Practitioners; Community Pharmacists; and Optometrists.

You will be responsible for providing a dedicated, professional and comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the Head of Service, Associate Medical Director and Heads of Service and Director as appropriate. With the ability to deliver this support in an effective, efficient and proactive manner, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to the smooth running of the Primary Care Team.

Acting as a focal point for ensuring the flow of communication, information and correspondence within the department, you will project a positive, professional image for the whole Primary Care Team and in particular when acting as first point of contact for the Head of Service and Associate Medical Director.

You will have experience of working within the public sector or equivalent and possess a sound understanding of general office systems. You should be computer literate with a detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

You will require a full driving licence.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday
