As Receptionist your main duties will be but not limited to:

  • Answering a multi-line switchboard for all offices across Lancashire
  • Directing calls to the appropriate extension or taking messages
  • Dealing with general enquiries
  • Maintaining all meeting rooms and ensuring these are booked correctly using the on-line booking facility
  • Setting up meeting rooms for meetings, marketing and events including all equipment and refreshments
  • Meeting and greeting all clients and visitors
  • Keeping reception tidy and ensuring drinks machines are adequately stocked
  • Ordering of stock to include stationary and refreshments
  • Opening, logging and scanning all incoming mail ready for distribution
  • Franking and logging all outgoing mail
  • Maintaining the franking machine
  • General administration to include scanning, copying and binding
  • Maintaining the petty cash and spreadsheet and logging all incoming payments

What you need to be successful in your application of Receptionist

  • Previous experience working in similar role on reception
  • Reactive to customers calls with the ability to resolve quickly
  • Highly motivated
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Minimum level of Intermediate with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Minimum of grade B in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Good typing skills

What package you can expect to receive

£16,000 - £19,000 per annum plus private health insurance, life assurance and pension
