Team Secretary

Location: Exeter Business Park, Sowton

Salary: Highly Competitive

Full time: 1 year fixed term contract.

Working for the Field Management Team at the new Exeter office of St. James's Place Wealth Management plc.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an adaptable Team Secretary to work for the Field Management Team within the new St. James’s Place Wealth Management regional office in Exeter. You will be managing the work generated by the Team and offering support as required to ensure the continued success of the new regional office.

Interviews will be held in Exeter in February.

St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company with £90bn of funds under management which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base.

The Role - Team Secretary

You will be working with the Field Management Team in all aspects of support including: diary management, arranging appointments, travel arrangements, copy and audio typing, project support, communications by telephone and email, preparing letters, presentations and reports, co-ordinating meetings and workshops, ordering literature and accurate record keeping.

You will be dealing with third parties on a daily basis.

The Person - Team Secretary

This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, organised individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a 'can do’ working style.

You have exceptional communication skills and are highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. You will have strong written and problem solving skills. You are a team player who is able to work with little or no supervision. You are reliable with proven secretarial, administrative or personal assistant experience and good IT skills.

It is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.

It would be useful, but certainly not essential, to have worked in a Financial Services or professional service environment or have a financial background.
