We are currently looking to appoint a Secondary Supply Teacher based in Yeovil from January 2018. Monarch Education is one of the most established supply agencies in Yeovil and is currently working with several Secondary Schools in Yeovil very closely as their first port of call of supply.
We are looking for you to teach on a supply basis within Ofsted 'Good' and 'Outstanding' schools on either a part-time or full-time basis in Yeovil and the surrounding area. You will be covering lessons with work set in place by the department and ensuring that pupils compete their set tasks. Our schools have high expectations of our teachers and expect you to lead the class and engage and interact with their students. There will be opportunities to work within both mainstream and independent schools through us.

If you are an NQT we can provide the opportunity to develop your teaching skills and experience within a diverse range of local schools. We welcome applicants from NQTs as we have regularly assisted newly qualified teachers with signing off their Induction and finding their first permanent position in the local area.

In order to be consider for this you will need:
*To hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Have experience of teaching within a UK Secondary School
*Have a thorough understanding of your subject's National Curriculum.
*Be prepared to cover subjects outside of your subject specialism
*Be committed to furthering pupils' learning
*Be flexible and adaptable
The daily rate of pay for this role is £90 - £110 per day depending upon the number of years teaching experience you have. For long-term and permanent positions this rate will be higher and dependent upon the role in question.
