Your new school
Hays Education work closely with a variety of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across Newport. We offer long-term and permanent placements within school office positions. Throughout the last academic year, we have made over 50 long-term school office placements in & around Newport. We also work in partnership with a number of schools in Newport, giving you exclusive access to the roles within these schools.
Your new role
Hays Education Support Services are currently recruiting for school office staff across a variety of roles including School SIMS Administrator, School Receptionist, Attendance Officer, Examinations Officer and Headteachers PA. 90% of the roles that we offer are long-term with each assignment lasting for at least 1 term. Some assignments will have the chance to eventuate into a permanent position. All roles are term-time only and tend to be 6.5 hours per day. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have school office experience along with a passion for working in schools. You will have a working knowledge of the SIMS system (School Information Management System) and will demonstrate a strong work ethic in everything that you do. Your organisation and communication skills will be vital to success in this position.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a competitive rate of pay between £9.00 - £11.00 per hour depending on the position. As a Hays contractor you will have access to Hays exclusive roles as well as the opportunity for a permanent position in a school.
