Monarch Education is currently recruiting for reliable qualified secondary teachers with the passion to use their professional knowledge and teacher training in secondary schools in the Somerset region. This position will give an enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) the chance to get straight into teaching without the responsibility of marking or pressure of signing a contract with a school.
Monarch Education provides local schools with staff on a permanent, long-term or day-to-day basis. We have contacts and 'first call agreements' with over 70% of schools in the South West and therefore always have positions that need filling. In particular we work with several of the schools in Yeovil and the surrounding area on a first call basis so we are in a fantastic position to offer you work in local schools. The added benefit of working on supply also means you can be completely flexible about what days you do and do not work by letting us know of your availability so we can only designate you to work on the days you are free; makes sense, right? You also have the option to turn away any booking but the freedom and opportunity to work five days a week with our Guaranteed Work Scheme (GWS) that promises work and income and the bonus of no planning or marking!

If teaching KS3/KS4 is something that you are interested in pursuing on a permanent basis, getting to know the schools that we work with can be just the foot in the door that you need. This gives the school time to get to know you and gives you time to decide what schools you would like to invest your time in going permanent with.
