LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Term Time only
31 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday
Required - March 2018

The school have a vacancy for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to work within the Learning Support Department for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Someone with experience with Visual Impairment would be desirable.
You will support students in the mainstream classroom as well as supporting / leading small group interventions within the Learning Support Department
You will need to be patient, calm and assertive with good empathy skills
Knowledge and experience of working with students with SEN is desirable though not essential, as is an ability to understand the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
Ability to support students to access the English and Maths curriculum (up to GCSE) is desirable
