An outstanding secondary school in Wandsworth, are looking to appoint a Second in Charge of Science from September 2018. For this Second in Charge of Science post, you must be a versatile Science Teacher who has worked in an inner city school previously and is able to provide stimulating lessons. The school are looking for a Second in Charge of Science with the drive to use their initiative to help promote better teaching standards across the department.

In this exciting Second in Charge of Science position you will be aiding the effective teaching methods already in place. It is expected that the new Second in Charge for Science will be able to model outstanding lessons to other teachers in a department of 12 teaching staff.

The school is outstanding and still maintained successfully by the local authority. It is non selective but achieves fantastic results for all of its pupils.

The school boast a successful exam rate of 85% A*-C in GCSEs last year with Science achieving 92% A*-C in the 2017 examinations.
