A multi-national Financial Services organisation, who operate in over 130 countries with over 40k employees have an opening for a Scrum Master on a permanent basis.

As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for everything Agile within a Dev team. Scrum ceremonies, impediment resolution, tracking and reporting, reporting metrics and handling team communication are all typical duties you can expect to undertake. Some further responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate and coach the team on agile practices and effective ceremony execution (standups, estimation/commitments, backlog grooming, retrospectives)
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments
  • Protect the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keep them focused on the task at hand
  • Communicating information that ensures the team’s progress/success are highly visible to stakeholders and the team (backlogs, burndown charts, etc.)
  • Support the Product Owner
  • Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values

To be successful, candidates should have the following experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years solid Scrum Master experience, experience in Agile, Lean, Kanban
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills as you will be facing off with stakeholders globally
  • Strong technical knowledge of the Microsoft stack (essentially, you need to come from a hands-on background)
  • Experience of manging chase across SDLC
  • TFS knowledge
  • Any Agile Coaching would be extremely advantageous
  • Experience of working in a regulated Financial Services environment
