About the role
Spire St. Anthony's are looking for a full time Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scrub Nurse or ODP to support the senior theatre staff and maintain the high standards of effective care delivered to all Spire Healthcare patients.
Working within a multi-disciplinary theatre, this offers the option to gain experience and knowledge across broad range of surgeries. Therefore, enhancing your skill set.
Duties and responsibilities
Prepare operating theatres / anaesthetics rooms for surgeries
Run a theatres list unsupervised
Perform Scrub, circulating and / or anaesthetic duties
Maintain effective channels of communication at all times
Who we're looking for
HCPC / NMC registered
Understanding of scrub roles and theatres
Advanced Life support certificate or willing to attend course
Willing to work collaboratively (good team player)
Planning and organisation
Concern for standards
Problem solving and continuous improvement
