Purpose of the Role…

To assist the SCM Operations Manager to support the external Sales team, Distribution Partners & customers with order processing and Stock availability

Key Responsibilities...

SCM Co-ordination

  • Enter customer orders onto SAP, update internal order book and facilitate deliveries
  • Build relationships with customers and keep them informed of delivery schedules and accurate stock availability in a timely manner
  • Input SCM AP1 & AP2 forecast weekly using data obtained from the SCM meeting
  • Communicate stock issues

Key Competencies/Characteristics

Essential Skills

  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint and MS Outlook
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Operational use of SAP Business Software
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills and business acumen
  • Good project management skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Professional manner and attitude
  • Knowledge of finance
  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Advanced SAP Business Software skills
    • Experience in SCM & order processing
