This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our passionate and knowledgeable Building Test Centre as the Scientist. This exciting role will see you providing a professional, confidential and accurate testing service to BG and external clients in the field of fire/acoustic/structural testing. Strictly adhering to company safety standards and UKAS accreditation quality standards.
The Building Test Centre is a UKAS accredited lab which provides a range of testing for; Acoustic, Structural, Physical and Fire resistance. A Scientist role has become available to join The Building Test Centre, initially within the Acoustics, Structures and Physical test team.
What will you be doing in the role?
In the role as Scientist you will;
- Be able to comply with actions of annual safety plan and support departmental safety initiatives.
- Assist with implementation and development of improvement initiatives designed to increase lab productivity and customer service.
- Efficiently organise testing services to minimise test lead times, supporting BG projects and delivering on targets for commercial income.
- Perform tests (Acoustics, Structural or Fire as required) in accordance with current test standards.
