Are you looking for an exciting role working with others, helping students develop their knowledge and interest in science?

Do you have laboratory experience and a passion for science?


A great opportunity for a Science Technician has become available at an excellent school in Greater Manchester.

In this role you will be involved in:
• Setting up practical demonstrations, preparing solutions and providing technical support to both students and staff
• Managing and providing guidance to other Science Technicians
• Maintaining laboratories, equipment, stock, and health and safety regulations
• Reviewing and updating activities as indicated by the curriculum
• Liaising with other departments and external bodies
• Coordinating technical courses for staff development

As a successful candidate you will have:
• A relevant scientific qualification
• Experience working in a laboratory
• Experience working with students
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience working as a Science Technician would be beneficial
