A popular SEN secondary school located in East London, are seeking a full-time teachers of Science to join the team. The ideal start date would be September 2018.
The SLT are seeking Qualified Secondary trained teachers who have experience or would like to work within a SEN setting. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to join a team who are dedicated, supportive and all working to re-engagement programmes for statemented students with complex needs and learning difficulties.
The ideal teachers will be innovative, enthusiastic and passionate and have the ability to build positive relationships based on trust and understanding.
The Successful Science Teachers must have:
-Hold Qualified Teacher Status
-SEN experience or a willingness to gain experience within a specialist setting.
-Ability to teach science up to Key Stage 4
-Be a UK resident or be eligible to work in the UK
-Hold a current and up to date DBS disclosure
The school is keen to secure a SEN Science teacher to join a thriving department in September 2018. The role includes teaching Science to all year groups Key Stage 3, Key stage 4 and experience with Key Stage 5 is preferable but not essential.
As a new member of staff with the school you will have access to resources within the school. You will also be supported by staff within the Science department. The school is made up of a range of NQT's and experienced SEN Teachers which makes for a positive and progressive setting. The senior leadership team and NQT Coordinator at the school commit to making you an excellent practitioner if you are yet to finish your NQT year.
