Responsibilities: As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to impart knowledge and inspire young learners. Your key responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging science lessons that captivate students' interest and promote active learning.
Teaching a range of scientific disciplines, such as biology, chemistry, and physics, and tailoring instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Conducting practical experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop students' scientific inquiry skills.
Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies to support their academic growth.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and participate in extracurricular science-related activities.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
A relevant degree in Science or a related field (PGCE/QTS preferred).
Proven experience teaching science to secondary school students.
A deep passion for the subject matter, with the ability to inspire students and foster a love for scientific exploration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Strong organizational skills and a creative approach to lesson planning to engage students of all abilities.
