TLTP are currently working with a Secondary school based in Essex that are recruiting for passionate, committed and dynamic Science Teacher to join them in September on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be required to plan, deliver and mark all lessons on your timetable whilst also implementing the school's ethos.
As this schools new Science Teacher your duties will include but will not be limited to;
You will be required to teach the national curriculum across key stage 3 and 4
You will ensure they are improving on their current grades
As the new Science Teacher you will be communicating on a regular basis with parents and carers on their children's progress within your classes
You must document students' progress within the Science department throughout the academic year
You will be required to use a wide variety of learning resources to help improve your lessons and teaching
You will be required to undertake appropriate CPD training in line with school and departmental priorities
The successful General Science Teacher will have the following Qualifications/Experience;
You must have a Science related degree with a relevant teaching qualification ie. PGCE, QTS.
You must have strong behaviour management
Excellent subject knowledge
As a Science teacher working with children, you will need a recent Enhanced DBS check
