Science Teacher required to join a highly reputable school in the Salford area. Easter - end of the year.
Your new company
This Secondary School based in Salford are looking for a strong teacher of Science who can deliver lessons to KS3+4 across all Science Disciplines. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school in Salford, and join a performing Science department. This position is to start after the Easter holidays, to last until the end of the Academic year.
Your new role
Starting Monday 16th April, you will be responsible for teaching all 3 Sciences across KS3 and KS4. As this is a long term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.
This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long term position, you will also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions.
You will join a Science department alongside 4 other Science Teachers.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and ideally have experience of teaching all 3 Sciences across KS3 and KS4. You must be available to start following the Easter break and commit to a 12 month contract, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.
