Your new school
Hays Education is currently working on behalf of a number of different secondary schools in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, recruiting for several positions throughout the academic year. You will join the Science Department and work towards the academic progress of pupils, creating a stimulating environment and creatively delivering challenging and imaginative courses.
Your new role
In your new secondary teaching job, you will be required to teach Science from to KS3 to KS5, delivering lessons with confidence and enthusiasm. You will be a flexible member of staff whose days can vary on a weekly basis. You will also create lessons that encourage pupil involvement, interaction and debate.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have completed all relevant studies and have QTS/NQT. You will be an engaging, experienced Science teacher with enthusiasm to teach challenging courses in a creative and imaginative manner. A real understanding of the subject area and passionate commitment to students' academic progress and personal growth are desired. You will also need strong classroom management skills and the drive to achieve academic excellence whilst emphasising the school's core values.
