Engage Education are working with a mixed secondary school and sixth form with academy status, situated in Enfield. The school is looking for long-term cover with the aim of moving into a permanent post at the end of the school year.

The School

This comprehensive school, recognized for its Behaviour for Learning Programme is situated in Enfield, London. The school is in the top 20% of progress for GCSE and A level and has an excellent science department.

About the role

Your role will be to teach a Year 9 and 10 class until the end of the school year with the opportunity to move into a permanent post. In 2017 the results for the Science department at GCSE were in the top 8% nationally and the leadership of the team is inspirational. There are currently sixteen members of the department who would very much like to meet you.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching science up to KS5, however, this is not essential, the department is highly experienced and has excellent resources. You will need to be confident in being able to prepare students for there GCSE's

Requirements

The school will be looking a fully qualified teacher. This role is suitable for NQT’s.

Salary and Benefits

Main Pay Scale (Outer London) £26,662 - £42,498 (MPS - UPS considered)
