Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Maths teacher for one of our partner schools East Cornwall. This is a part time temporary role starting in January 2018 on a flexible timetable to cover regular supply days.

The school is a 'Good' school who have achieved great results over the last few years. The Maths department in particular are very proud of their attainment numbers.

The school require a Maths specialist teacher to join their supply pool for regular yet flexible cover days. Work will be set by the permanent class teacher, you will be required to deliver this work, achieve the lesson objective and ensure that children are focused and making good progress during your cover periods. You will be required to mark the work and handover back to the permanent teacher, but you will not need to be involved in planning or assessment.

We have supplied staff to this school in the past, all of whom enjoy working at the school and many have gone to to secure long term and permanent work here.

Most of the work will be booked in advance, however, there will be instances where short notice cover is required, so applicants that can accept same day bookings will be of particular interest and receive more frequent work!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
