Our Secondary Academy in Accrington is looking to recruit a fully qualified Science Teacher to join their already successful Science department. We are looking for a Teacher who can deliver good to outstanding lessons and who is fully committed to student achievement.
About the Academy
It has an extremely successful learning environment that has seen student results improve significantly in recent years. Its recent building extension and refurbishment programme has added to the additional state of the art facilities for learning and will house a specialist provision for Sixth Form students. Cutting edge learning facilities are evident throughout the Academy, every classroom has an interactive white board and most classrooms are fully equipped with the "Active Expression" learning system.
It has a strong and fully supportive Senior Leadership Team who are dedicated to ensuring that the students receive the best learning experience.
As the successful candidate, you must meet the following criteria:
- MUST be a qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification
- Be able to deliver good to outstanding lessons in Science
- Have a positive can do attitude with lots of enthusiasm
- Have a drive to succeed
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to student achievement.
