Prospero Teaching is looking for an Outstanding Science Teacher to work in a 'Good' Ofsted rated (2017) secondary school based in Christchurch, on a full-time, permanent basis. This teaching job is due to start in September 2018.

Rated as 'Good' by Ofsted (October 2017).
The school's leadership is Outstanding.
The school is part of a new multi academy trust with three other Schools.
Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, predominantly Key Stage 3.
Full-time permanent appointment.
A large and successful department and there will be an opportunity to be involved in curriculum development.
This position would suit an NQT or someone with more experience; a July 1st start will be available for an NQT.
To be Successful the Science Teacher will have/be
An enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Science.
The ability to work innovatively with others to plan for effective teaching and learning.
Able to demonstrate good classroom management skills and the ability to work to targets.
The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results.
Posses excellent Science curriculum knowledge and strong organisational skills.
To be Eligible the Science Teacher must have/be
Be a fully qualified teacher (PGCE, QTS, B'ED etc)
Provide at least two professional references that cover the last two years of employment.
Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Have a fully enhanced DBS certificate that is registered with the Update Service or be willing to complete one.
A provable track record of teaching Science at Key Stages 3 & 4.
