Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large RC Secondary school in the Moston area of North Manchester. The school wish to appoint a team of Science Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their Science department, on both full time and part time bases with immediate effect. With a special focus on improving children's attainment and understanding of critical aspects of Science, particularly preparing for examinations, this is an excellent opportunity to work as a teaching assistant and would be ideal preparation for a PGCE or teacher training programme.
Whether you are applying or starting teacher training this year, or considering an application for 2019 this large "inner city" school would give you great experience. Working as a teaching assistant within Science will allow you to see how lessons are planned and then delivered, understand how to differentiate according to ability and also how to manage behaviour well within the classroom.

In order to improve the support available in the Science department, the school are seeking to appoint Science specialist Teaching Assistants to join the school at the earliest opportunity. All Science Graduate Teaching Assistant positions will be offered on a temporary basis, initially until the end of the academic year, with the potential to secure a fixed term position from September 2018 if desired.
**It is essential that the successful Science Graduates have some experience working with children and young people and are able to provide references during the interview process.**
