Prospero Teaching is currently seeking to recruit an individual interested in becoming a Teaching Assistant to work at a popular secondary School in Ipswich! The Headteacher is interested in appointing a Teaching Assistant who is an aspiring Teacher, as school-centred teacher training may be available for next September.

A popular school located in Ipswich is searching to hire a Teaching Assistant starting as soon as possible. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be a graduate, innovative, enthusiastic and passionate. The school is keen to secure a Teaching Assistant to join a thriving set of departments immediately from September 2018. The role includes supporting the students during the day on a 1:1 basis and in small groups as well as generally assisting the main class teacher.

As a new member of staff you will be given guidance and there is always lots of support offered. Resources at the School are fantastic; the department you will be working in is busy and has a blend of experienced Teachers and Assistants which makes for an interesting and unique environment to work in.

The large Secondary School does not have issues with their recruitment and do not find that they have a high staff turnover. However, as they have worked with Prospero Teaching for a number of years, they have entrusted this vacancy with us to ensure they appoint the most suitable Teaching Assistant available for as soon as possible to continue the amazing teaching delivered across KS3 - KS5. The role also offers the option of being made permanent at the end of the years' contract.

Behaviour at the school is extremely good, although, like most schools, there are a few students that have more challenging attitudes towards learning, therefore you will be expected to demonstrate the correct strategies to ensure the behaviour stays at a manageable standard. The school does provide education for students of all abilities therefore creating differentiated and interesting attention grabbing lessons is a very important trait and will act as a useful method to ensure behaviour stays good.
