Becoming a Schools Finance Assistant with Capita

The role will support our schools finance service by providing an efficient and effective service to clients and the Bursary team.

What you will do:

  • Assisting schools on their monthly tabs/reports by providing a Helpdesk function.

  • Investigating and resolving financial queries from schools.

  • Ensuring the central accounting system is updated with any adjustments, because of these queries in a timely manner.

  • Input of finance data (VAT reports/Budget plans etc.) onto the accounting system.

  • Providing administrative support to the Bursary team.

    Your experience will include:

  • Strong communication skills and focus on providing excellent customer service

  • Ability to deal with range of financial queries

  • Previous experience gained in finance or accounting positions

Ranging from a monthly visit as part of our Bursary packages to a Helpdesk function to answer day to day queries, we aim to relieve the burden of financial administration on schools through our expertise and experience.
