£18,000 + bonuses and use of company vehicle to travel to and from schools.

Car driver essential (for insurance purposes you must be over 21 years and hold a full, clean UK manual driving licence and be a car owner)

WOW - A fantastic opportunity has arisen to find 2 x School Workshop presenters to run fun educational problem solving workshops in primary and senior schools all over the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. Helping to improve children's thinking, reasoning and team building skills. On the days where you are not working in a school you will assist in the office which is based in Elstree, Herts - However you will normally be based in schools over 4 days a week between Monday and Friday. For the period of school holidays when the person is not running puzzle challenge days you will be required to work in in the office and warehouse carrying out administrative duties.

With an engaging and enthusiastic personality you will assist groups of children from the ages of 4 - 16 in a school environment through a variety of games, puzzles and challenges which will help to develop their thinking skills and stretch them mentally.

This is a totally rewarding and unique role which does require you to be flexible in the hours that you work and to undertake overnight stays on a fairly regular basis, you will also need to drive a manual car ( a small van is supplied)

This role will also require the person to sell the company ranges of resources within the schools to both teachers and parents. With training you will be expected to be knowledgeable of the different resources available, prices and the application and use in schools.

Running of a parents programme during and after school and inset days is also required. On average you should expect to run three of these extra programmes per term.

Qualifications:

You will need to have experience working with children, not necessarily in a teaching environment, maybe a school holiday camp or activity centre. A clear speaking voice is essential to project your dynamic personality to large groups of children. You will need to be self motivated to deliver different types of sessions to schools countrywide and be very flexible on hours as there will be stays away from home. All expenses to be paid. A knowledge and general understanding of subjects such as thinking skills, mathematics, the national curriculum and special needs educational needs would be an advantage.
