Your new role
You will be providing invaluable support to the Science Department. You will support the team in the maintenance of all laboratories/classrooms and all science equipment. You will provide support to teaching staff, ensuring that all Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times. You will also be responsible for the disposal of waste materials, the collection of apparatus and chemicals from storage, and the preparation of solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
The school is looking for someone with recent Lab experience and who is immediately available. You must have a strong work ethic and show a real passion for Science. You will have experience setting up equipment in a laboratory environment for practical lessons and have a good knowledge of COSHH and CLEAPSS in order to maintain health and safety. You will be an efficient worker and able to conduct tasks quickly with a keen eye for detail. This is a suitable position for graduates with a science related degree.
