School Partnerships and Progression Officer

Forward Futures is an established Recruitment Specialist providing a high quality service to Education professionals seeking temporary & contract positions with a leading FE College within North Somerset.

We are currently seeking a School Partnerships and Progression Officer to undertake a full time assignment with immediate effect working within the College’s ASPECT team.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of employability to all Weston College learners and where required, Weston College Group partners, providing effective and timely information, advice and guidance on progression routes in to employment and preparing learners for the entering the world of work. This will include the co-ordination and delivery of the employability elements of the personal, social and development (PSD) tutorial provision for all College learners. You will also be responsible for maximising applications and recruitment from all North Somerset and Somerset schools, maintaining proactive and effective collaborative practices with all local schools and similar external partner organisations, working with staff up to senior level within these organisations.

To be suitable for this role, you must have experience of recruitment or account management and ideally have a working knowledge of the progression routes into FE. You will have excellent communication skills, ability to manage relationships with external organisations and third parties, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team as well as on your own initiative.

£13.06 per hour + holiday pay.

Hours will be Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 5pm, 4.30pm finish on a Friday, with an hour for lunch.
