School Finance Assistant job in Bristol

Your new school
An Ofsted rated "Good" primary school located in North Bristol are currently looking for a school experienced Finance Assistant to assist the Business Manager. The role is to begin ASAP to complete a handover and will be on-going. They are looking for someone to work 18 hours a week, but can be flexible on days.

Your new role
Your main responsibilities will be ordering and receipting deliveries, dealing with petty cash and diner monies, preparing for the bank collections. You will also be asked to assist with general admin within the office such as covering reception if needed and answering any queries efficiently.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent and relevant experience of working preferably with school finances, confidence in using Excel and Word are essential as well as a knowledge of finance and payroll systems. You will desirably have a relevant qualification in Finance. You will also need to be an excellent communicator and be able to work well as part of a team.
