Tradewind is recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker looking for work in The London Borough of Southwark

Tradewind are recruiting for an experienced, hardworking, reliable School Caretaker to work in this thriving community school after the Easter period staring from the 17th April 2017. This is a full -time position working 5 days per week potentially to go permanent for the right candidate.

The schools aim is to equip pupils with the skills, knowledge and experiences to be successful. They have high expectations of every child and value them as individuals. They have strong, meaningful links with parents, carers and the local community

The school requires someone that can work on their own initiative, who is reliable hardworking and takes pride in their work. This is a demanding role that requires some that can be proactive working between 3 floors throughout the day. You must be a good timekeeper, reliable and flexible

You will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the school grounds and building, minor maintenance repairs such as, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting/Glazing, Cleaning and Health and Safety.

The school has good transport links and there is adequate off -street parking space

Although the school is closed during the holidays, work will be allocated for you if you are available.

*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance
*You must have worked as a Caretaker in a mainstream or corporate organisation
