School Business Manager Job - School in Gloucestershire - April start date
Your new role
In your new role as School Business Manager you will be responsible for the management and efficient running of the school office. You will be expected to lead, motivate, and develop a team of two administration staff in organising and delivering a good service to school stakeholders. You will also give advice to the senior leadership team on issues such as school development planning and finance, and will be able to communicate effectively at all levels and have high standards.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background in Education, and will preferably have had previous financial/administrative experience. In the past you will have worked in a role that required you to manage and motivate your own team to achieve organisation targets, and you will be comfortable leading by example. In order to handle the clerical demands of the role, you will have a sound knowledge of school management systems, and Microsoft applications, and be comfortable showing others how to do the same. It would be advantageous if you did hold a recognised School Business Management qualification, but it is not essential. An outstanding track record as a School Business Manager in previous schools where proven results of success is essential
