School Area Manager with experience working in a school cleaning environment and in managing supervisory staff is needed by our client, the UK's leading facilities supplier to University accommodations, to be based in London.

They specialise in Cleaning, Maintenance, and Security and are a National company.

The Role
As their School Area Manager, you will spend most of your time in the schools premises and report to their Operations Director.

On any given day, you may find yourself busy ensuring ordering cleaning materials/equipment, supporting on-site cleaning teams, assisting with staff recruitment, training and motivating site supervisors, maintaining up-to-date records for quality, cost control & personnel, attending meetings, arranging site visits, audits & inspections, carrying out ad hoc quality management system inspections, building relationships with customers, responding to any complaints, reporting any potential issues.

Overall, you will ensure that customers receive a high standard cleaning service, and the safety of all the cleaning staff.


  • Previous experience working in a school cleaning environment
  • Extensive experience in managing supervisory staff
  • Experience in customer liaison
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
  • Proactive & highly self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organisational and time management skills

Type: Full Time (starting off at 4 hours per day, mixed AM & PM)
