Our Payroll Department is looking for a specialist to join their team in an exciting time of rapid expansion for Lidl.

The holder of the position is in charge of the SAP HR / Payroll support for end users including problem-solving and trouble-shooting as well as the technical support and bug fixing in SAP systems. This role will allow you to utilise your SAP expertise to strengthen the project team!

Your role

  • Gathering and analysing business requirements, map into SAP processes, preparing technical specifications and developing effective solutions
  • Performing unit testing, supporting integration and user acceptance testing
  • Testing and implementing new software products including updates and bug fixing
  • Developing custom ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements and user exits as required
  • Installing and testing of SAP support packages, including annual adjustments
  • Daily monitoring of SAP Notes and timely installation into live systems
  • Optimising and modelling business processes
  • Year End Data and monthly data reconciliation and correction
  • Supporting PAE, salary sacrifice reconciliation and problem fixing
  • SAP Data analysing and reporting, preparation of audit reports

Your profile

  • Profound professional experience as well as project experience
  • Deep knowledge of SAP UK Payroll configuration
  • Time Evaluation configuration advantageous
  • ALE / IDOC advantageous
  • Application of HRSP / OSS notes
  • ABAP programming advantageous (debug experience required)
  • Fluent command of the English language
  • Good knowledge of the German language is ideal but not essential
  • Pro-active mind set
