Samsung Retail Operations Executive - Hertford

Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

Working within the Samsung/Blue Square TV and Audio (TVAV) Field team you will co-ordinate the administration of all In Store Development Executives (ISDE) activity over the Monday to Friday period. You will liaise with the TVAV field team and management, ensuring all administration requirements and deadlines for activity are met. This will include attendance records, absence log, holiday log, updating of the Blucru, training course on boarding.

  • Full responsibility of updating the ISDE attendance log and ensuring all information is correct i.e. Shift patterns, store swaps, contact details and leavers.

  • Ensure that the all admin is cascaded out to the relevant departments.

  • Arrange a weekly management update call with a set agenda and project points covered.

  • Point of contact for all tactical projects including answering all queries emailed to the ISDE email address regarding working hours, store changes, issues in store etc.

  • Responsible for sending out co-ordinated communication to the team regarding updates and information.

  • Responsible for communicating activity to heads of department and the client development team.

  • Support the management team in understanding initiatives on project planning.

  • Support the management by creating a clear, shared sense of purpose, brief and keeping them informed of all plans and issues.

  • Provide regular reporting of performance against objectives and create weekly/monthly/project duration updates that are distributed to the working project group and project meetings. Daily check in report to be run every day to record ISDE attendance

  • Update the ISDE asset log, chasing outstanding devices and liaising with finance regarding the withholding and releasing of promoter funds.

  • Liaise with the management team in the field to resolve issues including store changes and store issues

  • Prepare all necessary materials for project presentations

  • Analyzing and understanding the business requirements to deliver the right experience across internal functional areas and any required third parties for the effective delivery of the project.

  • Liaise with Recruitment, reporting, HR, finance and client services regarding various issues and challenges that arise.

  • Business partner key stakeholders in order to ensure effective delivery of the project

  • Promotional and commercial activities planning ahead of project delivery

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships among different stakeholders

  • Pro-active in approach to decision making and managing challenges

  • Confidence in talking to various people including staff and clients

  • Verbal and written communication

  • Competent in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Able to work to short deadlines managing multiple tasks

  • Ability to have difficult conversations and achieve a positive outcome

This role will see you working for Blue Square whilst supporting Samsung.
