As the Digital Tools Training Specialist for Salesforce (1SF), you are joining the Digital Tools area of the Group Enterprise Learning & Development team; supporting SELL Operations in 1SF across 4 Group Enterprise Units (Vodafone Global Enterprise, Cloud & Security, Internet of Things, Carrier Services) and 18 local Enterprise Business Units/Op Cos; covering a community of over 8.000 sales and supporting function experts across multiple geographies delivering a revenue budget of nearly £12bn per year.
The Digital Tools Training Specialist will work with the L&D Manager for Digital Tools to deliver against the training strategy for 1SF and connected systems to ensure the 1SF community have the necessary skills to utilise the system effectively in line with their roles; assisting in driving continual improvements in Enterprise productivity.
Create comprehensive and compelling training content, covering the different learning styles whilst ensuring the user has a full understanding of all relevant functionality.
Review and maintain all training material to ensure accuracy and that business and user needs are sufficiently met. Drive continual improvements to our content.
Become an integral member of the SELL Demand Management process to understand new functionality being delivered, and update/create applicable training materials following system changes.
Deliver against the training adoption strategy to encourage and improve existing usage of training content, including developing and maintaining the 1SF training site. Ensure all available training methods are communicated to users and strategy success metrics / KPIs are tracked. Monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting procedures to be effectively maintained.
Support the business with training requirements on ad hoc and wide impacting 1SF projects
Core competencies and experience:
- Ability to work independently and multi-task on training projects.
Excellent communicator – able to convey clear, concise messaging.
Strong interpersonal skills – able to build links with Salesforce.com user base and 1SF Stakeholders to understand training needs.
Experience in a sales or customer support role.
Must have technical/professional skills:
- Fluency in English - written and oral
Clear track record of owning end to end projects and creating training material.
Strong sales operations awareness and a customer focused mind-set.
Computer skills: strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint. Experience of working with SharePoint, Adobe Captivate and Salesforce.com (or similar solution) advantageous. A technical aptitude to learn new software tools.
