Role overview:

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting Tes to leverage the Salesforce.com platform to support key business objectives.

You will be a member of the Business Systems team and work as part of a group of designated Salesforce specialists. You will report into the Head of Business Systems but will take guidance from the Salesforce Lead at a daily, operational level.

As such, you will support the management of Salesforce support tickets received through the service desk and support the delivery of systems-related projects. By following an agile delivery approach, you will also take documented solutions to development, into change sets, into testing and through to deployment.

The role is Sheffield office based. Can work 2-3 days remotely once established in role.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Proactively and continually drive and update your own development and knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Understand and continually increase knowledge of Tes's internal business systems and how they directly or indirectly interact with Salesforce.
  • Follow specifications for development items meticulously, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Test the development items (QA) of other team members before passing them to the business users for UAT.
  • If required and appropriate, draft Salesforce technical design and implementation documents.
  • Communicate openly with team members and internal customers to provide updates on the delivery.
  • Share Salesforce knowledge with direct team members and the wider business.
  • Provide demos and/or light training for Salesforce users where appropriate.

    Education and experience requirements:

  • Salesforce certified ADM201
  • 3+ years of administration experience in Salesforce
  • Experience with process builder, workflows, validation rules, custom settings, and salesforce formula language.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience of liaising across multiple departments/disciplines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to adhere to agile/business processes.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with a flexible approach to work.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience of/training in agile IT delivery methodologies.
