Sales Team Manager - About The Role:

Our client are part of an independently owned British group of companies with fantastic growth and development plans for the business in place. A value added service supplier providing IT products and services to business and public sector organisations this is an incredibly exciting time to join a business who partner with pioneering UK and global brands.

Due to fantastic plans for the business our client are now seeking a talented, passionate, leader to join their team. Working within this role you will be responsible for;

  • Lead, develop and manage the sales team
  • Manage multiple vendor relationships
  • Drive and implement strategy
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts, suppliers, partners and internal teams
  • Ownership and management of business and P&L
  • Demonstrate business development acumen to manage and influence technology, services sales

Sales Team Manager - About You:

  • 1-3+ years’ experience in sales team leadership
  • Strong Manager - You are a people person who is a great recruiter, motivator, mentor and coach
  • Proven management & leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a sales team
  • Excellent sales, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience of running and implementing successful telesales/telemarketing campaigns (ideally with external data agencies)
  • Good business sense/commercial acumen
  • Initiative, drive, enthusiasm & common sense
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Good planning and organisational skills
