The Sales Support Specialist is an essential part of the Sales function and acts as a bridge between the Sales team and the rest of the business. As a Sales Support Specialist, it will be your role to work with the Sales team, Purchasing and Accounts functions within the business to align customer administration and communication strategies.

The Key activities of a Sales Support Specialist are;

 Fielding inbound customer enquiries and owning to resolution or distributing to the relevant function for follow up

 The preparation of quotes for customers

 Liaising with Suppliers to ensure best prices are achieved at all times

 Acting as a point of contact for incoming Service and Project proposals and documentation from both internal and external customers

 Assisting with the administration and facilitation of customer-facing events

 Ensuring impending renewals and other subscriptions are communicated to customers and closed accordingly

 Assisting in outbound Demand Generation activities and Transactional Account Management

The Sales Support Specialist role is ideal for those individuals looking to take their first step into a Sales career as well as existing sales professionals wanting to transition from transactional sales to a solution-based sales approach.
