Sales Support Executive - Central London

A Global leading telecommunications company is looking for someone to provide Sales Support through the global sales process to achieve regional business sales and revenue targets. As a Sales Support you will be required to assist the Sales Team with order request validation & quote configuration with subsequent progression to Service Order and prioritization of system quoting & ordering requests in region.

Key accountability

  • Prioritization of system quoting & ordering requests in region
  • Assignment of support action items to appropriate teammate or queue
  • Technical Solution confirmation with Sales/Pre-Sales/Service Delivery teams
  • Quote creation guidance & support for fellow Order Desk Team
  • Referencing third-party supplier quotes & feasibility studies
  • Quote progression from Approved Firm to Order status
  • Validation of order form against order configuration. Ensure documentation is into SFDC before opportunity closure and order generation
  • Rework of rejected System Orders
  • Completion of Request Sales Support action items within agreed OLA
  • Identify system issues, log incident ticket requests and follow up till issues are resolved
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system features or improvements

Qualifications/Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering or IT related discipline
  • At least 1 year demonstrated in sales, finance, strategy or operations environment
  • Great collaboration skills. Team player and works well with team members and stakeholders from other Business Units.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and management skills with the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work as well as follow through till completion
  • Ability to obtain and process information
  • Receptive and flexible to change in business needs and processes
  • Problem solving skills - Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Experienced power user of Salesforce.com or equivalent
