We are seeking a Sales Support Engineer to join a thriving company who are based near Winchester, Hampshire. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary of up to £40,000 per year plus excellent benefits. This is an office-based role Monday-Friday with occasional site visits so own transport essential.

This varied and interesting role will suit someone with a related qualification within engineering or science. A thirst for learning, the ability to absorb product information and a clear and concise manner in which to present to others.

Your role as Sales Support Engineer incorporates assisting internal staff and external clients in strengthening their product knowledge. You will be providing 1-1 training to team members and regularly speaking with a worldwide customer base, ensuring that they have correct and accurate information.

Sales Support Engineer responsibilities:

• Provide extensive technical product support to the sales team
• Regularly discussing and advising relevant product information to a worldwide customer base
• Bi-Monthly client visits, ad-hoc international travel and trade show events
• Preparation of presentations and materials
• Hosting webinars and training sessions and hands-on demonstrations
• Involvement with product/technical projects
• Maintaining and updating CRM system
• Operating technical product helpline and mailbox
• Dealing with quality queries
• Creation and control of datasheets
• Assisting the Marketing department with product articles

Essential skills

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering/Scientific field
• Previous experience within technical/product support
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to grasp complex information
• Strong IT skills
• Time management and organisational skills
• Driving license (you will be making bi-monthly site visits across the UK)

Please note that this is an office-based position, so it is essential you live within a reasonable commute to Winchester.
