Sales Support Assistant

The Role

We are looking for an individual experienced in working in a sales support and customer care environment. This role is based at the Eurofins Wolverhampton site and reports to the UK & Ireland Support Supervisor.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing customer accounts on ECOM/CRM/B2B
  • Coordinating and recording consolidated shipping of oligos and sequencing samples at customer sites
  • Writing and proofreading
  • Liaising with printers
  • Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases
  • Organising events such as conferences, seminars, and exhibitions
  • Involved in the production of local marketing materials, including email blasts, leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, etc
  • Placing orders via ECOM (internet based ordering system) including fax and email orders
  • Resolving customer queries received via e-mail, post and telephone
  • Credit control - liaising with Credit Controller to produce managerial reports including basic analysis
  • Processing invoices as required on a daily/weekly and monthly basis
  • Working closely with the UK & Ireland Support Supervisor & Country Manager to ensure office targets are met
  • Working cross functionally with UK & Ireland Sales team, European Support & Marketing department to ensure customer satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Producing monthly sales reports in Excel
  • Analysing sales reports, trend identification for downstream marketing activity
  • Setting up of B2B customers

What We Are Looking For

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills

  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written
  • Previous experience in two or preferably more: sales support, customer care, order processing and credit control
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills - with particular emphasis on Word & Excel use
