An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client who are a successful and still growing manufacturing business based in Swansea. As the business has grown, there is now the need for a SALES SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR to be based within their export department.
Whilst export experience is ideal, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will however have experience in working within manufacturing, scheduling and working to tight deadlines.
To be successful in the Sales Support Administrator role you must have excellent communication skills, be people focused and enjoy lots of customer contact.
The duties and responsibilities for the Sales Support Administrator are as follows:
1.To receive and process orders from customers via telephone, by fax, email or direct from Export customers with the exception of Ireland.
2.To maintain proactive customer contact, progress chasing and resolve problems relating to enquiries/orders.
3.To ensure customers are contacted promptly when stock is made available.
4.To liaise with the Export Sales Director on export deals and promotions.
5.Arrange orders, uplifts, credit notes and deal with delivery discrepancies.
6.To raise and continually update customer profile sheets.
7.Despatch samples/product information as requested by Export Sales Director/Sales Office manager
8.Organise and liaise with our logistics team with carriers on export orders.
9.Complete export documentation for all customers
10.To support our customers with any regulatory requirements working with our technical team
11.Provide sales performance information to the Export Sales Director and Sales team when requested.
12.To execute gap analysis work as requested by Export Director and propose new line sell in activity to targeted customers within agreed criteria
13.Provide analysis review of marketing activity focusing on performance v pre agreed measurable objectives
14.Support in market research for potential new markets as directed by Export Director
