Sales Support Administrator

Up to £27,750 + company benefits

Our Client, a FTSE 250 listed company within the Finance and Banking Sector, is currently seeking a Sales Support Administrator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The role would involve assisting both the Underwriting and Collections team, sustaining relationships with customers and partners.

The ideal candidate will have a polite and professional manner and be self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills. Furthermore, you will have strong influencing and negotiation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Processing customer proposals and underwriting in line with company policy and procedure

- Liaising with customers and partners regarding underwritten proposals

- Effectively utilising the internal systems

- Identifying possible fraudulent customer accounts - taking action to resolve issues quickly

- Relationship management with existing accounts to ensure that customer arrears are resolved first time where possible

- Carrying out all administrative duties as needed

- Liaising with tracing and repossession agents

- Accurately banking money received

- Responding to all customer queries and complaints

- Processing all received documents

Skills and experience:

- Minimum level of education required 5 GCSE (including Maths and English)

- Proven experience in a customer focused environment

- Credit control/collections or underwriting experience ideal but not essential

- Excellent administrative skills essential

- Excellent telephone manner

- Knowledge of regulations relating to compliance, data protection, Anti Money Laundering, Consumer Credit Directive, Consumer Credit Act ideal

- Excellent Excel, Word and Outlook skills

- Team player

- Focused and motivated attitude
