Sales support Administrator

Are you experienced ( 1yr+) Sales Administrator, who is currently looking for your next challenge? Do you enjoy fast paced environment and your excel skills are at least at intermediate level? Then this opportunity could be the right one for you.

Based in Milton Keynes, Mon - Friday, Hourly pay rate £11.50.

Sales Administrator are expected to provide exemplary sales support and care to the sales team and the organisations client base.

• Input and process National accounts orders received via the National Account Manager or direct by email from the customer.
• Liaise with the relevant National Account Managers to make sure the process runs smoothly and any queries and concerns are raised in good time.
• Liaise with appropriate departments to ensure all of the correct information is being input for the customer order and to ensure that you are aware of product arrival dates where necessary.
• Providing the warehouse with all the correct information to complete the order as expected by the National Account Manager and the customer
• Ensuring pricing and items match customers systems and forecasting/range plans.
• Update the range plans and trackers once the orders have been invoiced.
• Take customer orders from independent UK and Ireland accounts on the phone and via email for relevant designated accounts, and where required, all other accounts.
• To show a good understanding of the order process from start to finish
• Provide customers with a good foundation of product knowledge, and where products are unavailable to seek other alternatives/outline any relevant offers.
• Proactively track orders to ensure the order process is complete.
• Be flexible and use discretion, when the fairness of the company and the future of the customer relationship is at stake.
• Proactively speak to major account customers daily so they are aware of items which can be ordered, stock availability and dates at all times seeking to enhance and build close working relationships.
• Follow up customer deliveries and liaise with the warehouse to solve any order/delays issues and to ensure that you have an audit trail of interventions you have undertaken on behalf of the customer in your pursuance of excellent customer care.
• To show consistency across the board for the purpose of returns, deliveries and ordering process

You will be expected to:
• Represent and show a positive attitude towards the business
• Support colleagues where necessary in balancing the workload during peak times.
• Be enthusiastic within the team and add to the departments progression
• Provide good time management and organisation skills.
• Be reliable at all times and in the absence of other team members, showing flexibility where required.
• Show empathy and understanding towards customer dissatisfaction and deal with their concerns appropriately.
• Undertake other duties as may be requested of the post holder that are commensurate with their level of responsibilities and skills and pertinent to the role.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in providing admin support in a sales environment
• Strong skills in Excel (Pivot tables, formula) and Powerpoint, as well as MS Office in general
• Experience in working with web-based sales systems ideal
• SAP experience preferred
