Sales Support Administrator PUBLISHING

A fantastic new opportunity awaits a skilled Publishing Sales Support Administrator to provide general sales and marketing related support, including day to day management of print and online agents/distributors, timely responses to queries and servicing of information/marketing needs. This will involve close collaboration with marketing and editorial to ensure regular information flow to agents/distributors regarding products, promotion and pricing. Our client, is a leading membership body in the Engineering field and wider construction sector publishing; providing books, journals and digital products to both academic and corporate markets. This role is based at their HQ based in Central London where the post holder will play a key role as a member of the Publishing Sales team.

This is a full-time permanent position, paying £26,500 per annum + excellent benefits!

Key responsibilities of the Publishing Sales Support Administrator:

- Day to day management of UK and international agents/distributors
- Support the selling of Publishing print and online products
- Supply product price, marketing information to customers and agents/distributors
- Monitor flow and accuracy of book information to trade feeds
- Attend exhibitions and conferences and occasional visits to customers
- Record customers' and agents' details in CRM database (Salesforce)
- Provide quarterly sales reports to print agents and process commission payments
- Work with UK and US warehouse to process and track book orders
- Monitor their general sales inbox, following up on or distributing leads/enquiries
- Support sales team with market/sales analysis to feed into planning process

The Publishing Sales Support Administrator will most likely have:

- Previous Sales Administration experience within Publishing
- A solid understanding of statistics reporting and usage metrics
- Similar experience working in an office administrative environment
- Experience of CRM databases including Salesforce
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel tools
- Understanding of print and online publishing processes
- Good written and spoken English and numeracy skills
