We’re looking for a Sales Engineer to cover the South-West, and act a trusted advisor to our specification / consultant customers, a key customer group. “Hard sellers” need not apply for this job – you’ll be someone who can take a consultative approach, understanding what the customer wants to achieve and thinking strategically, offering potential solutions from a suite of Schneider products. That said, this is still very much a sales role, so you’ll need the confidence and ability to turn potential customers into real ones!
In this job you’ll develop, manage and implement a commercial strategy for our specification / consultant customers in the South-West (with a particular focus on Cardiff and Bristol). This is a "greenfield" patch, with plenty of potential for development - so this is very much an opportunity to make a name for yourself within our business!
Ideally, you’ll have a proven track record in sales, and it’s essential you have an understanding of the specifiers market; perhaps as a sales person, perhaps in a technical support or tendering capacity. However, please be aware that we are also able to consider exceptional graduates, as long as they have a relevant degree.
