Sales & Service Administrator

My client is looking for a strong Administrator to join their small team in Sunbury.

  • Diary Management for engineers (Breakdowns, PM, Installations)
  • Raising Service Contract quotes and following up with the customer
  • Ordering spare parts and consumables needed for the engineers
  • Create and send quotations
  • Follow up on quotations sent, convert to a sale where possible
  • Process sales orders, send confirmation of orders
  • Liaise with shipping and dispatch to ensure a smooth delivery
  • Maintain database with notes, calendar entries, sales opportunities, quotations and orders
  • Make reasonable efforts to increase product knowledge and competitor products
  • Prepare sales forecasts (Service)
  • Cover administrative duties of Service and Sales Administrator when required such as:-
  • Supporting field sales reps with admin and support
  • Liaising with our logistics companies to ensure no issues are incurred during the delivery of goods to the customer
  • Sales quotations

Key Skills/Aptitude -

  • Ability to work to deadlines and provide quotes/information to internal and external customers in a timely manner
  • Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills. (needed to keep all customers up to date with relevant info)
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate a methodical, organised and flexible approach to work.
