Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Representative who from an machining/Engineering background.
The focus of the role is to generate new customers as well as maintaining the relationships our client has with its existing customer base.
Duties will include -
- Sales visits and calls to account customers. Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
- Production of weekly sales visit reports
- Production of monthly and quarterly order intake forecast Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system. Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met. Track and record activity on customer accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
-Research and identify potential industry sectors, new potential clients, meet with and build relationships with new clients handling all aspects. Attend industry functions, such as events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends. Identify opportunities for campaigns and services that will lead to an increase in more profitable work. Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
