Job Title: Sales Representative - Pet Industry

Location: Northern Home Counties, North London & East Anglia

Salary: Circa £28,000 + commission + car + pension etc

My client is a very well known and established family company, a market leader within the UK pet trade.

The Sales Representative will be covering the following areas; Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Harrow, Barnet, Brent, Hackney, Islington, Newham, Barking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage and service the existing contacts/clients and promote the brand
  • Follow up on leads passed to you
  • As the Area Sales Manager you will proactively look for new business within territory
  • A combination of account management and business development
  • Close sales successfully

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in field based sales
  • Knowledge and experience of the pet industry
  • Experience selling to independent retailers, garden centres and nurseries
  • A drive to exceed targets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Motivation to work autonomously
