The Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 starting salary

Support the Key Account Manager to achieve profitability and growth objectives; establish new (and strengthen current) business relationships with veterinary practices through providing the highest standard of service.
Please note that flexibility is a key requirement of this role. The successful candidate must demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to business travel (e.g. regular Head Office visits, travel to customers/clients in your designated areas), attending shows, product training, weekend work and any additional hours as required.
Create and sustain key business relationships with veterinary practices; acting as a point of contact during regular visits and communicate commercial decisions including deals, price structures and offers.
Monitor the return on investment on the abovementioned decisions, present accurate reports to the Key Account Manager and advise on opportunities to grow and develop the veterinary side of the business.
Support the Key Account Manager to evaluate current and prospective customer needs, ensuring that the business responds appropriately.
Communicate the benefits of the Companies products/services, distribute information and promotional materials.
Manage customer orders and oversee account activity.
Resolve complex customer queries through liaising with relevant departments.
Support the Key Account Manager to evaluate current/prospective customer needs to ensure that the business responds to competitor activities.
Accurate administration of weekly reports on in-house systems.
Comply with relevant legislation and restrictions including all aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Attend international industry shows, conferences and events, following up on acquired business contacts and queries.
Remain informed of the latest developments in the pet care industry, including new products and merchandising techniques.
Strong communication and face-to-face interpersonal skills.
Maintains a consistently positive and courteous customer approach.
Confidence to liaise with people at all organisational levels.
Organisational skills and attention to detail.
